Historic Hotel in London
Are you looking for somewhere to stay in south London? Are you attending an event at the O2 arena and need somewhere to base yourself?
If you need a comfortable hotel at a budget price, The Angerstein Hotel is just the place to stay. The building itself is an impressive example of late Victorian architecture, and was completed in 1888. It has been trading as a hotel since 1891, and is named after the local businessman and dignitary John Julius Angerstein (1735 – 1823).
In 1999 the present proprietors, Mr Tommy Mills and his wife Sherrie, took over. They have spent their years there lovingly restoring the building to its former glory.
